Reflecting on a Year of Impact: The Nyondo Projects 2024

As 2024 ends, we reflect on the impactful journey of the Nyondo Projects under the Forgiven Kids of Africa Organization. This year has been one of challenges, triumphs, and growth across our school, hospital, and church in Nyondo.

Education at Ebenezer School

Ebenezer Infant Nursery and Primary School had a productive year, completing three terms with consistent education and care for our students.

Highlights:

• Regular feeding programs supported by donors.

• Games and outdoor activities for holistic development.

• Successful and disciplined exam sessions.

Needs for 2025: More textbooks, desks, uniforms, and a dining hall. Security fencing is also a priority.

Healthcare for the Community

Our hospital provided 24/7 affordable medical care, treating over 2,140 patients. Malaria was the most common condition, with a measles outbreak successfully managed in late 2024.

Key Achievements:

• Strategic location saving lives by minimizing travel for urgent care.

• No fatalities reported during the measles outbreak.

Future Goals: Expand services to include surgeries, deliveries, and HIV/AIDS care.

Spiritual Support at the Church

The church remained a spiritual anchor for the community, offering regular prayer, worship, and outreach programs.

Progress:

• Interior renovations improved the worship space.

• Weekly schedules balanced spiritual and personal commitments.

2025 Plans: Complete pulpit tiling and roof repairs.

Infrastructure and Maintenance

2024 Improvements:

• School: Plastering, flooring, swing repairs, and handwashing stations.

• Hospital: New lighting, painted walls, and improved drainage.

• Clean water: Borehole continued providing safe drinking water.

Challenges: Delayed compound leveling and new toilet construction due to financial constraints.
