Medical Center
In 2016, Kayunga village hospital successfully built a laboratory, and while it faces challenges with unreliable electricity and water filtration, the community is optimistic about the opportunities ahead. Seed & Feed is dedicated to creating a sustainable medical center in Nyondo, with a strong focus on preventive care, maternal health, and disease management. This initiative aims to provide high-quality healthcare and significantly enhance the well-being of the community.

Miracle Celebration Church
Our work reflects a commitment to empowering the church as a cornerstone of hope and spiritual strength in the village. We have majorly contributed in constructing and maintaining the Miracle Celebration Church, creating a space for worship, fellowship, and community growth. Through an ongoing relationship with the congregation and pastoral team, we provide financial support and uphold the church in prayer.

Clean Water Project
In 2012, Seed & Feed witnessed the struggles of a village where children walked hours to fetch polluted water, causing health issues and keeping them from school. Since 2013, we've helped Kayunga village access clean water through a water pump, improving health and education. Our clean water project in Nyondo aims to provide reliable, safe water by building and maintaining wells, ensuring every individual has access to this essential human right.

Agriculture Development
In 2014, Kayunga village started small scale farming in order to self-supply for the lack of available food within the area. Fortunately, it turned out that Kayunga has such a rich soil that does not require supplementary fertilisation to grow crops. The village elders themselves are in control of sowing the seeds and harvesting the produce. They are currently limited to producing staple foods such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, cassava and corn. We hope the village would be able to increase their farming scale (e.g. coffee beans) to make profit and help sustain the operation of their hospital and school.

Education Support
Since 2018, Seed & Feed has been constructing a school in Kayunga village with seven classrooms, designed to accommodate 500-600 children, including those from neighboring villages. Although the building is not yet fully completed, with only the external walls and roof finished, the enthusiasm for education among both students and teachers is strong. We believe in education's transformative power and, through our education support program, we are providing resources and infrastructure to the local school in Nyondo, helping pave the way for a brighter future for the village's children.

Annual visits to Kayunga Village
Each year, we spend two weeks in Uganda connecting with the children and families of Kayunga village. Our trip focuses on building relationships, understanding local needs, and immersing ourselves in village life. We engage in activities like soccer, netball, and frisbee, while also offering English, art, science, and hygiene classes. We worship together at Miracle Celebration Church, and meet with local staff, including the doctor, teachers, and project manager. This experience inspires us through meaningful connections and shared moments of joy and learning.
